Submission RulesService Agreement 1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS Welcome to The Adventist Directory! The services provided to you are subject to the following Service Agreement, which may be updated periodically. 2. SERVICE DESCRIPTION The Adventist Directory provides users with a large array of Adventist content for the spiritual development and growth of its members. By using theses services, you acknowledge that The Adventist Directory may use advertisements within the services from outside vendors, and that the services may contain other communications from The Adventist Directory. Any new service that is offered through The Adventist Directory will also be bound by the Service Agreement. The services provided on The Adventist Directory are offered "as-is," and that The Adventist Directory holds no responsibility for the failure to store information or personalized settings. However, we will make all efforts to ensure a rewarding The Adventist Directory experience. You are responsible for accessing the service, and may incur charges from third parties, such as Internet access and airtime charges. You will be responsible for those fees, as well as feed associated with delivery and display of advertisements. In addition, you must provide the equipment necessary to access the The Adventist Directory services.
All information gathered by The Adventist Directory is subject to our privacy policy. Recognizing the global nature of the Internet, you agree to comply with all local rules regarding online conduct and acceptable content. CONTENT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES The Adventist Directory does not claim ownership over the content that is submitted by its users. However, to make your content available for inclusion within The Adventist Directory, you agree to grant The Adventist Directory the following world-wide and royalty free license(s) as applicable. The purpose of The Adventist Directory is to provide a Seventh-Day Adventist environment in which Adventists worldwide can gather to be one in Christ. By submitting content to The Adventist Directory, you are agreeing that the submission is made in good faith, remembering that it should be conducive to the spiritual growth and enlightenment of other members. Material submitted must represent the Adventist faith, but must also respect the beliefs of all people. By submitting content, you agree to allow The Adventist Directory to post content in publicly accessible areas. Content that is submitted is subject to distribution, reproduction, modification, and adaptation for use within the The Adventist Directory community. The license granted to The Adventist Directory will last as long as The Adventist Directory maintains access to the content. Content is inclusive of all media types submitted to The Adventist Directory, including but not limited to pictures, movies, stories, etc. 6. INDEMNITY You agree to not to hold The Adventist Directory or any of its associates and affiliates responsible for any claim, including attorney's fees, by any third party due to content that you submit and make available through The Adventist Directory services. 7. NO RESALE OF SERVICE You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any of the services without permission from the The Adventist Directory team. 8. GENERAL PRACTICES REGARDING USE AND STORAGE You acknowledge that The Adventist Directory may establish general time frames with which content will be maintained on the server. This includes email messages, forum posting, uploaded content, and any other content that is generated by the user through The Adventist Directory services. You agree not to hold The Adventist Directory responsible for damages incurred by the deletion or failure to store any of the content held within The Adventist Directory or its affiliate's servers. Furthermore, you acknowledge that The Adventist Directory may change these practices and time frame limits at any time, with or without notice. 9. MODIFICATIONS TO SERVICE The Adventist Directory maintains the right to modify or discontinue any part of the The Adventist Directory services without notice. You agree that The Adventist Directory will not be liable for any damage incurred by the modification or discontinuation of a service. 10. DEALINGS WITH ADVERTISERS Any correspondence or business dealings made by you and by The Adventist Directory affiliates will remain in the jurisdiction of the two parties. You agree not to hold The Adventist Directory responsible for any loss or damages incurred as the result of dealings with advertisers within The Adventist Directory. 11. LINKS The Adventist Directory and its affiliates provide links to other World Wide Web sites and resources. The Adventist Directory does not have any control over these resources, so by using The Adventist Directory, you agree that The Adventist Directory is not responsible not does it endorse the content found through these links. Although every effort is made to guarantee the wholesomeness of the web pages found in the The Adventist Directory directories, we cannot guarantee that each one represents Seventh-Day Adventist doctrines. You acknowledge that The Adventist Directory is not responsible for any damage caused by content or goods available through The Adventist Directory links. 12. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY You expressly agree that The Adventist Directory will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential damages, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data or other intangible losses, resulting from: 13. GENERAL INFORMATION The service agreement constitutes the entire agreement between you and The Adventist Directory, and governs your use on the service. You may also be subject to additional terms dictated by third-parties and The Adventist Directory affiliates. The service agreement is within the jurisdiction of the State of Texas. The section titles in the Service Agreement are for convenience only and have no legal or contractual effect. 15.
